Terms of service

Last updatedĐọc bằng tiếng Việt

These terms apply to the hosted Undercroft service at undercroft.lowbit.link (the “service”), operated by multnelis (“we”, “us”). By signing in to the service you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you agree to them for that organisation.

Undercroft is also open-source software published under the MIT licence. These terms do not apply to a copy you install and run yourself; the licence does.

Accounts

  • Sign-in is by invitation from an administrator of a workspace. Keep your sign-in method and any access tokens you create secure. You are responsible for what is done with them.
  • An administrator controls who belongs to their workspace, what role each member has, and which sources it connects. They can remove a member at any time.

Your data

  • The data your workspace brings into the service, from Gmail, Google Drive or any other source, stays yours. We claim no ownership of it.
  • You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for your workspace, as described in our privacy policy.
  • You confirm that your organisation has the right to connect each source it connects, and to let the service read the data in it.

Connected sources

When an administrator connects a source such as Gmail or Google Drive, the service reads it with read-only access and only within the scope the administrator chooses. An administrator can disconnect a source at any time, and the service then stops reading it. Use of each source is also subject to that provider’s own terms.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
  • connect a source, or upload data, that you are not entitled to;
  • try to reach another workspace’s data, or get around the service’s access controls;
  • disrupt the service, overload it, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission;
  • resell or provide the service to third parties as your own.

We may suspend a workspace or an account that breaks these rules, and will tell its administrators why unless the law prevents it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise that it will run without interruption or error. We may change, suspend or stop the service or any part of it. If we stop the service, we will give administrators reasonable notice and the chance to ask for an export of their workspace’s data.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Reports, models and extracted text are only as accurate as the sources and the models your workspace writes; check them before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time. An administrator can ask us to delete their workspace and its data by writing to contact@multnelis.org, as the privacy policy describes.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant we will tell workspace administrators before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
